The WACA’s vision is to ensure every child across regional Western Australia can play cricket.
There is a definitive need for the provision of year-round resources, support systems and infrastructure, to help reduce the impact the great distances between the state’s major towns and remote communities can cause.
With the support of donors, we can make a difference by providing the resources for teachers to embrace cricket as part of the school curriculum, up-skill coaches and administrators, establish more Cricket Blast centres, as well as the creation of community and intra school carnivals.
Through donations to the Northwest Cricket Program, we can increase the reach of entry level and junior cricket in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions, with an aim to:
- inspire the next generation of cricketers
- encourage a healthy lifestyle
- extend the education lifecycle
- bring together communities.
